Florence, a suite in two rooms

A hallway opens onto both rooms, and you sense straight away that this stay will be a different one. Suite Florence covers 39 m², divided in two: on one side the bedroom with its 160 cm double bed, on the other a second room holding a single bed, a bookshelf and a long pale wood work surface. A sliding timber panel separates them. Close it at night, open it when you wake.

Light comes through tall windows dressed with sheer curtains. Outside, the trees of the grounds and the tiled roofs of the hamlet. Pale parquet, sand-coloured walls, a few canvases brought back from elsewhere: the house blends Italy, Asia and Provence without labouring the point. In the evening, only the quiet of the grounds remains.

For comfort, the suite has individual air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, two HD televisions, one in each room, and a courtesy tray with a coffee machine. Wi-Fi and parking are free. The whole suite is non-smoking and sleeps three.

This is the room for stays that last. A family with a child or a teenager, glad not to share a single room. Two travellers settling in for a week, wanting somewhere to unpack, to read, to work for an hour in the morning. The first coffee of the day is made here, before going down.
