Venezia, 25 m² and a balcony door

Venezia takes its name from the Italian half of the house, and the decor stays sober: a dark wooden headboard, white linen, a cushion embroidered SEA propped against the pillows, a pale stone floor. Nothing shouts; everything settles.

Twenty-five square metres for two changes the way a room is lived in. You walk around the bed, you unpack without stepping over your luggage. A balcony door opens just beside the bathroom: in the morning you push it open onto the greenery of the grounds and the century-old trees along the Aigues Brun stream.

The double bed measures 160 cm. The private bathroom, clad in stone, brings together a basin, a bulb-lit mirror and a walk-in shower. The air conditioning is yours alone to set. An HD television, a courtesy tray for tea and coffee, free Wi-Fi throughout the house and free parking on site complete the picture. The room is non-smoking.

It suits couples staying more than one night, the ones who want room enough to really unpack.

Its neighbour, the Hanoï room, offers the same size with a four-poster bed. In the evening you only have to cross the estate: the restaurant serves from 19:00 to 23:00, seven days a week, and you can read the menu before you come down. Rates vary with the season; breakfast is €14 extra.
